Overview.
A type of mixer in which the shaft turning the mixing paddles is positioned parallel to the ground. The mixing paddles are mounted on a horizontal shaft; the paddles and wear plates are bolted and removable.
Thanks to its special drum system, no material remains inside the drum after discharge. The horizontal mixer has a mixing capacity of 1 ton of refractory sand. Material can be loaded while the paddles are stopped, and the mixer can be started under load.
Hardox or abrasion-resistant cast wear plate options are available.
